Privacy Policy

Chameleon Ultra Manager (“the app”) is private by default. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your information.

1. Data we collect

None. The app collects, transmits, sells or shares no personal data. There is no user account, login, analytics, advertising or tracking. No third-party tracking SDK is used; your name, email, location or any identifier is never requested.

2. Data stored on your device

The following is stored on your device only and is never sent to us or anyone else:

Your app preferences (appearance and language).
The cards, dumps, profiles and keys you choose to save (in the app’s local storage).

You can delete this data at any time from within the app or by removing the app.

3. Bluetooth

The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy only to communicate with your own Chameleon Ultra / Lite device. This is a direct, local connection between your iPhone and your device; no data from this connection is sent to us or any server.

4. Network use

The app works fully offline. It accesses the internet only when you choose to check for or download a firmware update: it connects to the official firmware provider (RfidResearchGroup, via GitHub) and downloads public firmware files. This request only downloads firmware — no personal data is sent.

5. Third parties

Because we collect no data, we share no data with third parties. Firmware downloads are served by GitHub / RfidResearchGroup under their own terms.

6. Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children, and is not directed at children under 13.

7. Security

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no personal data we could lose. The data you save stays on your device within the operating system’s app sandbox.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and refresh the effective date above.
